Why SeatHere exists
It actually started with a wedding.
I originally built a private version of SeatHere for my own wedding.
There's nothing wrong with a traditional seating board. We simply wanted something easy for us to manage and easy for our guests to use.
Guests could search their name and immediately know where they were sitting. SeatHere is the public version of that idea.

Wedding guest privacy
Your wedding guests aren't our product.
Wedding guest information is temporary event data. Guests don't create accounts, public event pages don't expose the complete guest list, and SeatHere automatically schedules event data for deletion 30 days after the wedding.

Common questions
Do wedding guests need a SeatHere account?
No. Guests simply open your event link or scan the QR code and search their name.
Can I use SeatHere for table assignments without seat numbers?
Yes. Seat numbers are optional. You can assign guests to a table only or include an individual seat when needed.
Can I upload my own wedding seating chart?
Yes. Upload your seating plan and pin each table to its location so SeatHere can visually show guests where to go.
Can I change my wedding details after creating the event?
Yes. Upcoming events can update their event name, date, and venue. Changing the event name does not change the permanent guest link.
How long does SeatHere keep wedding data?
Event data is automatically scheduled for deletion 30 days after the event date.
How many guests can I add?
SeatHere Free currently supports up to 250 guests for one active or upcoming event at a time.
